How to Delete Your Account
If you would like to delete your RespectPlay account and have your personal data removed, you can do so by following these steps:
Email us your deletion request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Include your account details
In your email, please include the email address associated with your RespectPlay account so we can locate and verify your account.
We process your request
We will verify your identity and process your deletion request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
What Data is Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:
Personal Information
Your name, email address, profile data, and login credentials
Push Notification Tokens
Any device tokens registered for push notifications
Account Memberships
Your memberships and role assignments across all associations
Connected Accounts
Any linked social or third-party login connections
What Data May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained in anonymised form or for a limited period to meet our legal and operational obligations:
Feedback Submissions
Sanitised feedback data (with your identity removed) may be retained for up to 12 months to support association reporting and official development programs. Raw comments are deleted immediately.
Audit Logs
Access logs and moderation records may be retained in anonymised form for up to 90 days for security and compliance purposes.
Game Records
Historical game and assignment records may be retained with your identity removed to preserve competition records.
